The idea was to enhance the exhibition images with 'behind the scenes' information using image recognition and AR. This let the viewer explore the context of the work, giving depth to the exhibition and, perhaps more importantly, giving the campaign a stickiness that led the viewer from simply perusing photographic excellence to actually booking flights with Air New Zealand. The simple pinch to zoom out mechanic was the perfect solution to reflect BT's call to action - See the Bigger Picture... The multi-user experience takes visitors through a number of collaborative challenges that emphasising the complex inter-connectivity of the Earth’s delicate ecosystem. An interactive poster is detached from the wall (where a set representing residential, commercial and office spaces hang) and is used to guide prospective clients through a digital presentation about the building and its surrounding environment. The poster is printed using digital inks that, when touched, join a circuit to trigger animation and moving image that is projected on the walls of the space. Its style was based on, and representative of, architectural blueprints. Way back then it was called Sky By Broadband (if my memory serves me correctly) and I have seen it transformed from a fairly limited movie download client to Sky's version of the Future of Entertainment. Their flagship on-demand and digital live TV service platform that rivals the best of its competitors.
